On October 30, V-Film Cinema Development Joint Stock Company announced its newly registered establishment. The enterprise is headquartered at the Symphony Building, Vinhomes Riverside Urban Area, Hanoi City, with a charter capital of VND 10 billion.

The company has registered 8 business lines, of which the main business is the production of motion pictures, video films, and television programs. Several other registered business activities include motion picture and video film distribution, film screening, sound recording, and music publishing.

The founding shareholders include 5 individuals and organizations. Among them, Vingroup Corporation contributes VND 1 billion, equivalent to 10% of the charter capital. Mr. Phạm Nhật Vượng contributes VND 4.5 billion, equivalent to 45% of the capital. Mr. Phạm Nhật Minh Hoàng contributes VND 500 million, equivalent to 5%.

Ms. Phạm Nhật Minh Anh contributes VND 1 billion, equivalent to 10%. Mr. Phạm Nhật Quân Anh contributes VND 500 million, equivalent to 5%. Ms. Phạm Thu Hương contributes VND 2.5 billion, equivalent to 25%.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors and legal representative is Mr. Đặng Thanh Thủy. Mr. Thủy is also currently the legal representative of Culture Investment and Development Co., Ltd., Vietnam Culture & Arts Talent Development Joint Stock Company (V-Culture Talents), and V-Spirit Event Organization Joint Stock Company.

He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Vinpearl Joint Stock Company and serves as the General Director of Vinpearl Joint Stock Company.

At the end of 2016, Vingroup established the animation studio VinTaTa. According to its self-introduction, the studio operates two facilities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. In 2018, the studio launched the animated series “Monta in the Bizarre Milky Way”. At that time, the director of the animation studio was Nguyễn Phi Phi Anh.

In addition, in November 2024, Vingroup was approved by the People’s Committee of Hải Dương Province (now Hải Phòng) for the investment policy of a project to build the Thống Nhất cinema.

This cinema project has a scale of four floors, constructed on a land area of 457.2 m², with a total gross floor area of approximately 1,730 m². The project has a total investment capital of nearly VND 18 billion, with an implementation period spanning from 2024 to 2025.
