The 6th International Student Film Festival (ISMA 2025) will take place from February to July 2025 at Van Lang University, Ho Chi Minh City. The event will bring together nearly 100 universities from 15 countries, promoting cultural exchange and creativity in the fields of media and arts.

The competition categories include: Short films (10–30 minutes), Animation art (3–10 minutes), Interactive art (1–10 minutes), and AI storytelling (1–5 minutes).
The organizers suggest, for Short Films: Telling a short story about climate change and the environment through live-action footage; Animation Art: Creating creative stories about "Future Communication," focusing on the relationship between the environment, rivers, and humans.
In the Interactive Art category: Use installation art, interactive design, and other creative means to create interactive video works. For the AI Storytelling category, contestants use AI technology to create multimedia artworks that explore the relationship between humans and nature, urban development, and technology.
Contest films must be in file formats: MOV, AVI, MPEG, or VR video supporting Vive, Oculus, or mobile devices; resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixels, H.264 compression codec, 24FPS or 30FPS.
The organizers note: If the content is not in English, English subtitles must be added to the work.
