Audience Enthusiastically Participates in the Public Film Screening

According to Ms. Nguyễn Thị Thanh Thuý, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, the city is committed to creating an attractive atmosphere and favorable conditions to ensure the success of the film program.

Through the vibrant public space of Nguyen Hue Walking Street, the vivid images captured in these films serve as a bridge connecting the past, present, and future—offering audiences inspiration, emotional resonance, and renewed confidence in the nation's future. These stories aim to fuel the aspiration for Vietnam to rise strongly and stand shoulder to shoulder with the great powers of the five continents, as President Ho Chi Minh once dreamed.

In addition, the documentary “The Road Ahead”, organized by the Vietnam Film Institute, will be screened at the General Science Library of Ho Chi Minh City at two time slots—9:00–11:00 AM and 3:00–5:00 PM—through April 29.

From May 5 to 8, during the same time slots, the documentaries “Some Footage of the Liberation of Saigon” and “Saigon Rejoices in Victory” will also be shown.
